MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS
Brian McLaughlin is a developer, businessman, and entrepreneur with more than fifty years of experience and successes in Massachusetts. As the founder and owner of D’Angelo’s sub shops, Brian has a proven track record of building and sustaining businesses. He is also a highly regarded strategic planner, with significant non-profit leadership experience, including many years as Chairman of the Genesis fund.
Christopher Carney is an entrepreneur and businessman who has built a successful solid waste disposal business from one roll-off truck and one client to a multi-disciplinary conglomerate with millions in revenue. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Salve Regina University and volunteers his time as a hockey coach for his four children. He holds a BA from Salve Regina.
Donna Buckley is The Sober Living Foundation's Executive Director and Treasurer. She is an experienced attorney with an extensive background in labor and employment law, collective bargaining, organizational development, training and dispute resolution. She has served as an administrative law judge, and is a recognized expert on the complexities of health insurance and benefit administration. She is an elected Town Meeting Member in Falmouth and was recently recognized as volunteer of the year for Falmouth Community Television. James Tierney is an attorney and a CPA specializing in estate planning and helping his clients plan for the future. He is a graduate of Boston College, holds a law degree from Suffolk University, and obtained his LLM from Boston University. He lives and works in Duxbury.
Troy Clarkson is the Founder and President of the Sober Living Foundation. He is an author and speaker with more than a quarter-century of experience in positions of leadership in government and public service. He has published two books and writes a weekly newspaper column in the Falmouth Enterprise. He holds a BA in Political Science from Boston College and a Masters in Public Administration from Bridgewater State University. He also serves as President of the non-profit Carousel of Light, Inc.
